Mobile App

When you use the App, we collect the following categories of information:

  • Media Content — videos and audio files you select from your device for transcription. This content is processed to provide the transcription service.
  • Device Information — device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and language settings.
  • Usage Data — information about how you interact with the App, including features used, session duration, and in-app events.
  • Crash Logs — diagnostic data and crash reports that help us identify and fix technical issues.
  • Subscription Data — purchase history and subscription status, processed through RevenueCat and Apple's App Store.

Website

When you visit the Website, we collect limited, privacy-focused usage data through our analytics provider, Umami. This may include:

  • Page views — which pages you visit and when.
  • Referrer and campaign data — how you arrived at the Website, including UTM parameters when present in the URL.
  • Device and browser metadata — such as browser type, operating system, screen size, and language settings.
  • Interaction events — such as clicks on download links, outbound links, or contact email links.

Umami does not use cookies for cross-site tracking and does not collect personal information that directly identifies you. We use this data only to understand Website traffic and improve the Website experience.

  • RevenueCat — manages subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat processes transaction data and subscription status on our behalf.
  • Apple (App Store & StoreKit) — processes payments and manages app distribution. Apple's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.
  • Umami — provides privacy-focused website analytics for video2text.ttt.so. Umami processes anonymized usage data such as page views, referrers, and interaction events to help us understand Website performance.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only with the third-party service providers listed above, and only to the extent necessary to operate the App and Website and process payments. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Media content submitted for transcription is processed and not stored longer than necessary to deliver the transcription result. We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
